Tenant Problem : My first tenant.

I rent my flat unit at rm400 to someone a year younger than me, own no regular job and earn no steady income but be an illegal gambling money collector.

I have been contacting him since early of july to collect rental but he answered no phone call and reply nothing.

Then today, i drive into the traffic jam and found no one at home , with my grill and door in a unlockable state, a piece of glass missing from room. I have not enter the house. i view it from the outside.

so i send a msg again , ask him to contact me before 10th or else please move.

But i guess they have ran away.

thanks god if them really ran away.

luckily i have asked for rm950 as deposit, first rental and utility deposit.

perhaps they are in worried state for making the house a mess.

i will just take it as a lesson. Thanks God for this lesson. i bought the unit at Rm65k and 3000 as lawyer fees.
. I pay as my fees.

1. never rent ur unit to someone who earn no steady paycheck and is a man.

2. never rent ur unit to single person or family with no good job and income.

3. screen ur potential tenant and choose them. not them choosing you.

must ask for deposit for two months and utility deposit (flat rm200, apartment rm300)
