Sarawak (Kuching and Sibu ) Trip 2014

First time fly with Maswing from KK to Sibu. 2014 August 

A happy ride with them. The airplane was cute. 

had kolok mee and teh c ping in Sibu.

i miss sarawak foods so much, wish to go there again.

then i went to Kuching, the main city in Sarawak with Airsia.

and i managed to eat their famous sarawak laksa at a restaurant near riverfront, choon cheun or cheung choon restaurant. The laksa was awesome!  Only 15 mins of taxi ride from kuching airport, rm26 per ride. Just tell wanna go to eat laksa at the restaurant. 

 i tried this too. The raddiah cake omellete. 

Taste quite okay la.

there are many people here. Oh ya. This is a chinese restaurant but muslim friend also can eat here. A sarawak malay guy i sat with told me , in sarawak, the harmony between races can be seen everywhere. They respect each other. We called it 1 borneo spirit.

They have big, medium and small one. This is the big one. 

just another 5 mins walk from the restaurant to the cat statue. 

What a strategic place. Hahahahaha... Taxi from kucing airport to cat statue, Rm26 per ride. 

another 5mins walk from the cat statue to reach here, the kuching waterfront or riverfront.

the only flaw is there are too many rubbish 

floating on their river. Taxi ride from kuching airport to kuching riverfront or sarawak riverfront is rm 26 per ride too. 

u can choose to ride on some traditional (engine) boat.

The price of sarawak riverfront boat ride is rm19 per hour.

I paid Rm19 for an hour of boat ride around the river, seeing rubbish and some village around. 

Does it worth? It depends on individual taste. I choose to ride bcs i want to kill time while waiting for 4pm. Haha.
